Client:
Our client a leading Multinational Semiconductor requires a Senior Test Development Engineer for role in Limerick City, Ireland.
Role:
They are looking to strengthen their team with two test development engineers. Working on new product Test development of power controller devices, you will have the opportunity to research the technical requirements, validate product performance characteristics, and develop test solutions for high volume manufacturing on the latest ATE technology.
You will create a test development strategy, implement the full test solution from both hardware and software perspectives, acquire and perform statistical analysis of measurements, and perform full analysis of hardware and software solution reliability and robustness.
You will be required to work as part of the new product development team, working closely with design, evaluation, application and product engineers. You will be required to support production teams in activities such as yield improvement and test time reduction.
Skills and Experience:
The successful candidate will need to show proficiency in electronics, software development in C/C++ and statistical analysis. Training will be provided by the company on all hardware and software used in the development process.

Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Electronic, or Computer Engineering required.

3-7+ years relevant test engineering experience.

Familiar with PCB development software tools such as PADS or Dx Designer.

Experience with C\C++ programming techniques desired.

Experience with ETS364/800 testers desired.

Experience with working in a team environment.

Strong written and verbal skills required in order to effectively communicate technical details to internal peers and external customers.
