Client:

Our client a leading International Financial Organisation requires Print Operator for role based in Blackrock, Co. Dublin, Ireland.

The position requires the candidate to be onsite 3 days per week.

Role:

Under moderate supervision you will be required to sets up and operates high-speed printing systems and finishing equipment, ensuring high quality results completed in a timely manner.

The position key deliverables rely on delivering service to internal clients, usually at the line manager or employee level. This involves sharing subject matter expertise to others in the organisation or supporting others in their efforts to deliver on our promise.


Responsibilities:
  • Operates high-speed printing/scanning/finishing devices, constantly monitoring the quality of the print output to ensure business and customer service requirements are achieved.
  • Handle moderate to complex tasks and processes maintaining complete confidentiality of all material handled.
  • Handle assignments of the highest complexity, taking proper and immediate action to resolve issues.
  • Adjusts release of print jobs based on business priorities.
  • Takes proper and immediate action on printer alert messages/symptoms to resolve issues: troubleshoots and recovers printing issues.
  • Performs routine cleaning and maintenance of printing/finishing equipment.
  • Loads and unloads supplies (paper, envelopes, etc.) and stacks of printed output.
  • Maintains required activity log(s)/print job tracking with quality and in timely manner.
  • Carries out Incident & Problem Management for operational area as expected.
  • Assists and trains colleagues as required e.g. in scenarios where additional support is needed during periods when the volume is high and/or when backup is needed (e.g. holiday periods).
  • Act and escalate autonomously in special or emergency situations.
  • Attend team meetings as required and serve as technical expert to operations supervisor/manager.
  • Perform additional duties within the department as required.
  • Follow procedures to ensure adherence to the organization´s risk, health and safety and compliance policies sometimes with a limited degree of supervision.
  • Develop a practical understanding of how processes and systems in own area of operations relate to the management of risk and compliance.
  • Provide feedback and recommendations for improvement of operations processes and systems.
  • Respond to and resolve customer / distributor enquiries, service requests and problems, judging when escalate complex queries or involve others, to provide an effective service and clear advice to distributors and customers.
  • Demonstrate an understanding of customer´s needs, and ensure they are met by following documented guidelines and procedures and acting within agreed authority levels to ensure fair treatment of customers.
  • Respond to queries from customers/distributors and/or colleagues to ensure customers receive appropriate advice, and support more junior colleagues in managing straightforward customer requests. 
Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent)
Experience:
  •  2 or more years of experience in related field
  • Good understanding of IT to be able to run various applications responsible for prints and scans.
