Senior Security Engineer – Prestigious FS Client Dublin 1
My client is a successful Financial Services company, market leader based in Dublin 1 / IFSC Area. They are looking for a talented Senior Security Engineer The ideal candidate will have 7 years experience in a similar role.
Required Duties and Experience
- Lead and maintain security technologies, processes and procedures
- Reporting to the Security , Engineer and Operations Manager
- Promoting awareness of Cyber Risks across the business
- Management of , IPS, WAF (F5 & Azure), Access Governance tools (Varonis / FAM) and Cloud
- Manage the impact of change in relation to technology, products, processes, and legislation and lead the team in implementing the change.
- Capacity Planning and Management
- Coach more junior Staff
- Develop and promote security policies, standards, and awareness.
Skills Required
- Knowledge IPS, WAF (F5 & Azure), Varonis and Cloud is beneficial but not mandatory as training will be provided.
- Implement components of the technical infrastructure and be a resource for other technologists, architects, and management.
- Own the resolution of incidents and problems. Acts as lead technologist. Ensures that solutions arrived at are comprehensive and of high quality.
- Ensures that their assigned tickers are actively managed and positive impact on the teams SLA.
- 7 Years experience in a similar role
- CISSP / CISM
- Degree in Computer Science
