Role:
We are seeking a Manual QA Test Engineer. The role involves testing customer-facing web and mobile applications (iOS/Android), internal customer service and administrative tools, and backend services hosted in a hybrid Azure environment.
The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented, methodical tester who enjoys uncovering issues before customers do, has strong communication skills, and is comfortable working across complex systems and environments.
Responsibilities:
- Perform end-to-end manual testing across the ADW product suite, including:
- Public-facing websites and mobile apps (iOS and Android).
- Customer service and admin tools (web-based internal systems).
- Backend components hosted in Windows virtual machines and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
- Validate integrations between front-end, middleware, and backend services.
- Test data flow and integrity involving Azure Storage, APIs, and service layers.
- Conduct functional, regression, integration, UI/UX, and UAT testing.
- Create and maintain test plans, test cases, and test data.
- Log and track defects in Jira, collaborating closely with developers, product owners, and DevOps engineers.
- Participate in release cycles and deployment validations coordinated via Azure DevOps pipelines.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes, documentation, and coverage.
- Allocate part of your time (~20%) to writing or preparing structured test cases designed to be automated in Playwright and Selenium.
- Participate in daily standups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives in an Agile environment.
Requirements
- 3+ years of manual QA testing experience (preferably on multi-platform applications).
- Proven experience testing web applications, mobile apps, and admin tools.
- Familiarity with Azure environments, particularly:
- Azure DevOps (pipelines, releases, work items)
- Azure Storage (blobs, tables, etc.)
- Windows Virtual Machines and/or AKS-hosted microservices
- Experience with Jira for ticketing, defect tracking, and test case management.
- Strong understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Working knowledge of API testing (Postman, Swagger, etc.).
- Basic familiarity with SQL or data validation in relational databases.
- Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to reproduce complex issues.
- Ability to document test results clearly and communicate effectively across teams.
Nice-to-Have Skills
- Exposure to Playwright, Selenium, or other UI automation frameworks.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum environments.
- Understanding of CI/CD workflows in Azure DevOps.
