Role:
We're looking for a superstar Linux system administrator to manage our growing compute server infrastructure used by our global R&D teams for the design of our chips. This is a mission critical role, and an opportunity to do deeply impactful work.
Responsibilities:
- Setting-up and maintaining Linux-based computer servers and desktops/notebooks,
- Working with our engineers to integrate cloud services to our on-premises infrastructure according to their needs,
- Setting-up and maintaining operating systems, computer-aided design, and automation software,
- Providing end-user support to our engineering teams.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in a similar role including computing infrastructure management,
- Good understanding of end-user hardware, software, Linux OS, end-user periphery,
- Experience in design and automation applications,
- Knowledge in Linux OS system management, , e.g. docker, GitLab, VMs, NIS
- Knowledge of cloud services (AWS, Azure) and managing design tool installations e.g. CAD, Matlab,... is a plus.
- Have a can-do attitude and a problem-solving mentality.
