Client:

Our client a leading a Multinational Financials Organisation requires Contract Outsourcing Governance and Oversight Specialist for a role based in IFSC, Dublin, Ireland for a 11 month daily rate position.

 

As they are working a Hybrid Working Model, they require the contractor to be onsite 3 days per week.

 

Role:

 

As a part of the team, you will develop an outsourcing policy and framework to manage the risk associated with its outsourced activities, including current and emerging regulatory guidance.

 

You will assist the Outsourcing manager in the maintenance and implementation of the requirements of the outsourcing policy, framework and procedures.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Assisting the Outsourcing Manager in implementing the outsourcing framework.
  • Working in conjunction with business and function senior management to oversee and collate delivery of inputs to all key governance forums in the company and EMEA including Outsourcing Committees, Executive Committees and Boards.
  • Develop reports with complex analysis and metrics that are required by the company and EMEA Chief Operating Office (COO) Outsourcing teams for decision making and upwards reporting including KPI heat maps, performance ratings, due diligence/on-site visit trackers and any issues arising, statement of risk appetite metrics and key risk indicators.
  • Assist with the internal governance approval process and prepare all necessary information for new services requiring governance approval,
  • Maintain the internal outsourcing register and the outsourcing register for submission to the Central Bank of Ireland.
  • Track updates to outsourcing intercompany agreements ensuring changes are properly approved and updated in the outsourcing register and KPI tracker.
  • Assist in the alignment of outsourcing procedures and artifacts with broader EMEA framework requiring collaboration with colleagues across EMEA.
  • Reconcile and monitor changes to the enterprise service taxonomy ensuring that outsourced services are captured in enterprise service level agreements and assist the COO in quarterly attestations with respect the completion of outsourced services in Service Level Agreements.
  • Perform secretarial duties for where required (minute taking, recording of actions).
  • Facilitating working group/workshops with key stakeholder to drive solutions

 

 

Experience:

 

You have 5 years plus experience in the following areas:

 

  • Previous experience in a project execution or outsourcing role
  • Strong analytical skills, ability to display complex information in an easy understandable format
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, comfortable working with and influence diverse stakeholders at senior levels across multiple business functions
  • Strong communication skills - the ability to communicate to a variety of audiences across business function and level, tailoring messages creatively and appropriately.
  • Strong attention to detail and embraces a 'Right First Time' mentality
  • Advanced skills in using MS Office tools, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Visio
  • Power-Bi skills would be a benefit
  • Experience in change management
  • Knowledge of financial services is preferable.
