Software Engineer , Release Engineer Dublin City Centre Salary negotiable Around €50k - €60k
Our client are a market leading company based in Dublin City Centre D1. They require a Software Engineer to join the team. The ideal candidate will be involved in aspects of managing Software Release, Build, Configuration and Deployment. 3 – 4 Years previous experience required. The role will be Hybrid.
The candidate will work in a small team responsible for the delivery of product across its entire lifecycle. Requires multiple skills including Development, Release Management
Required Qualifications:
- Previous experience of Software Deployment (3 years) in a Microsoft environment
- .NET , .NET Core experience – Required
- Scripting such as Powershell , Bash, or Python – Required
- Experience of deployment into IIS , Windows Cluster Servers
- Containerisation Docker , Kubernetes – Preferred
Advantageous:
- SubVersion, Mercurial, Git, Perforce
- AWS, Azure,
- Cloudflare, Docker, Kubernetes, etc.
- Mantis, JIRA, Bugzilla, etc.
- Proficiency in a second scripting/coding/querying language; C#, Java,Ruby, SQL
- Chef, Puppet, Ansible, etc.
- Stong analytical and communication skills.
- Ability to grasp issues quickly and make educated, critical judgments.
