Client:

Our client a leading Multinational Semiconductor Company requires Principal Technical Product Marketing Engineer with Power or Silicon background for position based in Dublin, Cork or Limerick, Ireland.

You will have 5 years plus experience in product marketing role within a Semiconductor Organisation.

The group you will be joining develops monolithic Bucks, Boosts, Buck-Boosts, and Linear Regulators as part of the fast-growing Multi-Market Power Business Unit. 

Role:

You will be responsible for formulating product strategy, championing new product development, and managing all business aspects of the LDO and Buck-Boost portfolios within HPP.

You will be tasked with driving new opportunities, growing market share, and maintaining technology leadership for those portfolios. This will require close collaboration with applications engineers, product definers and development teams within and outside of group, as well Field personnel and customers. 

Responsibilities:

  • Ownership of the LDO and Buck-Boost product portfolios, assuming full responsibility for its success and performance

  • Serving as the product owner throughout the product lifecycle, ensuring its continued success

  • Engage with global field personnel, cultivating strong relationships with key stakeholders

  • Act as the primary interface with Sales, FAE, and customers, providing information on product roadmaps, pipeline, and portfolio.   Driving new design in/win opportunities, training, and

  • Developing business cases for new products and presenting them to senior management for successful launch

  • Collaborating with the product definition team to define product requirements based on customer and market needs

  • Supporting field teams (Sales, FAEs, and Marketing) as required to generate opportunities and drive design-ins/wins

  • Taking charge of pricing strategies for the product portfolio.

  • Contribute to market analyses, product definitions, value proposition assessments, competitor assessments, and roadmap development

  • Contribute to Go to Market collateral to support marketing campaigns, programs and social media

Education:
 

  • BSEE, with MSEE or MBA preferred


Requirements:

  • 5+ years combined engineering and marketing experience

  • A background in product marketing, including experience working with customers and colleagues in international environments.

  • Power Semiconductor experience a plus

  • Strong presentation skills

  • Excellent oral and written communications skills

  • Up to 25% travel, some international, required
