Our client a leading Multinational Semiconductor EDA Company requires Lead Integrity Signal Analyst for role based in Cork City, Ireland.
The candidate will work closely with world-wide company customers to provide post sales technical consultation and will focus on applying technical expertise in multiple products within the Sigrity technology family. The candidate should have expert knowledge and be high skilled with Digital design, transmission line theory, Signal Integrity analysis with experience in handling few of Sigrity toolset or similar tools from EDA tools to assist design engineers with high frequency designs and extraction of PCB/Packages at any stage of the design process, with varying design types, different industries and targeting different production materials.
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical consultation on the usage of Sigrity toolset to company customers with high level of satisfaction through remote support and answering on company forums
- Help the customers in the increase of productivity, debug complex issues and provide solutions in the implementation of software in their design methodologies.
- Creating high impact knowledge article content, tool adoption kits and other high-level documents to increase the self-help of customers.
- Working closely with R&D and Engineering to identify and prioritize the product improvement initiatives through formal methods and help in the customer adoption.
- Consult and understand the innovative design needs from customers and communicate with internal teams
- Debug complex issues and suggest workarounds for customer for them to proceed in their design cycle phases.
- Work with the larger support team to moderate, nurture and publish content on company forums. Will also have to respond to queries on the customer community forums.
Requirements:
- Bachelors in Electronics and Communication/Computer Systems Engineering with 3-5 years of experience in Signal and Power Integrity Analysis.
- Master’s degree in Electronics/Computer Engineering with 1-3 years of related experience in Signal Integrity Analysis.
- PhD with thesis in related areas.
- Strong background in Digital Design, PCB Design, Computational Electromagnetics, Circuit Design and Analysis, Digital and RF fundamentals related to Package and PCB Design, digital data transmission protocols like PCIe/DDRx is required.
- Candidate should have experience in Sigrity platform tools including: PowerSI and 3DEM, SystemSI, Clarity3D or competitive tools like HFSS in these areas.
- The candidate should have exposure to System Design Engineering in relevant domains like Automotive Electronics, System level PCB Design, RF and Microwave Design, Defense and Aerospace applications etc.
- Specific skills in EM Solvers, EM S-parameter and RLGC extraction, Thermal management of electronic Systems will be of added value.
- Excellent team-worker, strong passion and drive for personal technical excellence and high performance with self-learning/self-development capability
- Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent articulation skills. Ability to write good knowledge articles based on experience in handling customer issues.
