Client:

Our client a leading Multinational Banking Company requires Contract SFTR Transaction Reporting Analyst for 3 month daily rate role in Dublin City, Ireland.

 

Role:

You with the Middle Office Transaction Reporting team to create manual SFTR CSV Files for submission to the DTCC for SFTR Reporting, including New Trades, Lifecycle Events, Collateral, and Collateral Reuse.

 

Responsibilities:

Assist with the daily tactical reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness. The person will also assist with the SFTR Phase 2 project which will be to automate the SFTR Reporting process for the Bank.

 

This will involve working with the project team, technology, compliance and BAs to ensure that the requirements in the BRD are met. The person will also assist with UAT testing, documenting the process, developing controls for reconciliation.

 

  • Work within the Middle Office Transaction Reporting team who are responsible for SFTR transaction reporting and exception management processes.
  • The role will involve assisting with the daily BAU work of tactical reporting for SFTR Reporting. - compiling the CSV data fields from various systems for daily transaction reporting and lifecycle event reporting, Collateral and Collateral Reuse reports for all Repo and Reverse Repo trades booked by Treasury.
  • Work with the team to submit reports to the DTCC daily ensuring ACK messages are received and ensuring reconciliations and risk mitigation controls are in place to identify any exceptions or inaccuracies in advance of report submission.
  • Engage with the SFTR project team for Phase 2 to automate the SFTR reporting for using the DTCC Report Hub Solution.
  • Work with technology to determine that accurate data is captured from the systems of record for complete and accurate reporting.
  • Work with compliance and others to ensure the requirements in the BRD are met.
  • Assist with UAT testing cycles and post implementation validation checks.

 

Requirements and Experience:

 

  • Knowledge of transaction reporting processes (EMIR, MiFID, SFTR).
  • Will be expected to form strong collaborative working relationships.
  • Solid communication and organisational skills.
  • High level of accuracy, and ability to work to deadlines.
  • Be proficient in use of Excel (including VBA), PowerPoint, Word.
  • Proven track record in regulatory change space desirable.
  • Product knowledge of Repo/Reverse Repo products.
  • Ability to read, understand and interpret regulatory guidance.
