Principal C++ Software Engineer – Cork €80k–€95k + RSUs
We're looking for an experienced Principal C++ Software Engineer to help shape the architecture of a next-generation desktop platform used in the design of advanced semiconductor technology.
This is a hands-on technical leadership role focused on building high-performance C++ applications, designing scalable multi-threaded workflows, and developing modern Qt-based desktop applications. You'll also have the opportunity to work with Agentic AI and LLM technologies, integrating AI-assisted workflows into a sophisticated engineering platform.
Key Skills:

7+ years' experience in modern C++ (C++17+)

Strong background in multi-threading, performance optimisation and scalable software architecture

Linux development, debugging and profiling (GDB, Valgrind)

Python scripting
-
Qt experience is highly desirable
-
Interest or experience in AI/LLM integration is a strong advantage
