Global Security Architect – Prestigious Global FS Client Fully Remote
My client is a successful Global Financial Services company, based in Dublin. They are looking for a talented Security Architect The ideal candidate will have 6 years experience in a similar role.
Required Duties and Experience (Including)
- Assist the business in using a risk-based approach to secure IT systems.
- Determine security requirements for projects and work with project teams to ensure these requirements are met.
- Estimate the cost and determine the delivery approach for security solutions.
- Create high-level security reference architecture and assist in the development of policies guidelines and procedures.
- Plan, analyze, and design global security systems including network monitoring, intrusion detection and prevention, identity management, access control, mobile device management, and data protection.
- Oversees strategic projects to identify business and technical security requirements, design security controls and test their effectiveness ensuring the product implemented address both business and security needs
Skills Required
- A Bachelor’s Degree in information Technology and 6 or more years of experience in the Information Technology area
- Certifications ideally : CISM, CISSP, CISSP-ISSAP, TOGAF, CEH, CompTIA Security+, SANS GIAC
- Experience calculating and assessing risk based on threats, vulnerabilities, and mitigating factors
- Experience with best practices and methods of IT strategy, enterprise architecture and security architecture
- In-depth knowledge of financial services industry including detailed knowledge of insurance business processes and processing
- Project Management Institute Project Management Professional Certification
Salary is negotiable up to around €85k plus extensive benefits including bonus , contributory pension , health insurance. The role will be remote within Ireland , they may consider candidates who wish to work from the UK.
