Senior Network / Security Architect - Hybrid , Dublin. Salary depending on experience to around €85,000 plus benefits
Experience
- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Technology or related discipline
- Minimum 7 years’ Experience as an Infrastructure Architect / or Senior Network Engineer role
- Microsoft Platforms – Windows, AD, Exchange, identity and access management, SQL Server, System Centre
- Cloud Technologies – Experienced in Azure/AWS Cloud technologies, design and implementation. M365, MS Teams, InTune
- Storage and Backup – Knowledge of the Veritas tool set including Foundation Suite, Clustering and NetBackup.
- Familiarity with Unix storage and ideally have worked with SUN/Oracle, EMC disk storage solutions.
Responsibilities
- The successful applicant will work independently and/or manage a small/medium design team.
- Be a competent design authority on larger or more complex solutions, demonstrating an understanding of the customer’s business and commercial issues.
- Identify, design, and deliver larger or more complex architectures, strategies and specific solutions
- Be responsible for the design and communication of structures to enable and guide the design and development of integrated solutions that meet current and future business needs.
- Provision of comprehensive guidance on the development of, and modifications to, solution components will be available to ensure that they take account of relevant architectures, strategies, policies, standards and practices and that existing and planned solution components remain compatible
- The role is part of an existing design team and delivers to public bodies and private industry.
