Overview:

Our client a leading financial software organisation requires Software Test Automation Engineer for role in Dublin City Centre.


Role:

My client is looking to expand its test engineering team which is responsible for ensuring the quality of its high performance, real-time analysis products, utilising the latest software and hardware technologies. This team delivers innovative, automated testing solutions to verify the accuracy, performance, functionality, stress, resilience and use case validation of the companys products.


Qualifications:

Third Level Computer Science or Computer Engineering Degree.

Required Skills

• Experience in writing automated test suites for web applications (JavaScript, HTML, Adobe FLEX, XML) using Selenium.
• Experienced with Python and Perl scripting languages
• Detailed understanding of testing methodologies
• Excellent problem solving and debugging skills
• Excellent verbal and written English language communication skills

Desirable Skills

• Detailed knowledge of Linux/Unix
• Good working knowledge of IP networking protocols and systems
• Experience gained in testing applications/systems in a capital markets networking environment
